Our workshops are hands-on, collaborative sessions where participants actively do the work, solve problems, and create something tangible, using their collective knowledge with a facilitator guiding the process.

Money Habitude
We all have a "money personality" type. This fun interactive workshop will help build your Understanding about your relationship with money. Money habitudes is a combination of habits and attitudes formed through subconscious motives and biases. This workshop will explore what drives your clients' financial decisions.
CHW & Financial Resilience
training is designed to provide preservice preparation for CHWs and to advance the development of professionals currently working as CHWs or in related roles. This training is not meant to be prescriptive; this training includes tools and resources associated with different interventions to bridge financial setbacks that can shape understanding of their community members success along the course of delivery. The are four interventions that will be discussed: Buffers, Borrowing, Benefits, Backstops.

CHW In Real Life (IRL)
CHW In Real Life (IRL) is a highly guided and interactive preservice workshop for those who are looking to enter the CHW workforce or those needing a refresher to sharpen their core skills. This workshop aligns C3 core competencies: Communication, Interpersonal and relationship-building, Service Coordination and Navigation, Advocacy, Individual and community assessment, Evaluation and Research, and Knowledge base for starters. Participants will leave this course with a better understanding of their community members and local community resources to help with their navigational member services. This is a one of kind workshop geared towards real life experiences and tangible outcomes. Turning their educational experience into an actionable plan.
The online workshop takes approximately 6 hours to complete (four 90-minute sessions).

Self-Care Activity
Self-Care activities are essential for managing stress, preventing burnout, and build resilience through mindfulness, setting boundaries, and emotional wellness strategies. This activity is art therapy using chocolate. The participant will paint on chocolate using creative processes and help explore feelings, reduce stress and increase self-awareness. The process over product: The focus is on the creative act and the feelings it evokes, rather than the aesthetic quality of the final artwork. This activity will take place in person in Winston-Salem. Location TBD
