DOLLARS & SENSE
Our Dollar & Sense workshop is the cornerstone of Cartwill Empowerment Solutions financial literacy initiative. Our workshops are offered as a public service to help community members make the most of their money. These workshops are designed to be relevant and engaging by turning education into action. Workshop topics range from earning power and money management to saving and investing.

Our financial empowerment programs can be customized for practically any audience.

Community Alternatives Program for Disabled Adults (CAP/DA)
This program enhances the quality of life for participants and their families/caregivers while offering cost-effective care compared to the Medicaid cost for nursing facility care.
In this program, low-income, disabled state residents have an alternative to nursing-home placement. Program participants remain in their private residences or receive care in the home of a friend or family member.
This program also offers the added benefit of consumer direction, which means participants can choose who is hired to provide their personal assistance services, including adult children.

Community Health Worker Support Services

This program offers vital community navigation support services like food assistance, transportation, financial education , and other support services.
This program also offer free and fee based services that will connect clients with vital community resources.


Gateway House Initiative
This program is for those facing barriers to basic infrastructure and access to stable housing. This program is desgined for community living for individuals with limited income resources.
This program connects individuals receiving social security benfits, financially resourced re-entry participants, and young adults transitioning out of foster care. Each client is paired with a Certified Community Health Worker to assist with community support services.
